Mindfulness for Total Well-being and Transformation
Our well-being depends on a keen understanding of our inner world and the ability to manage it. Often, the subconscious thought-forms, behavior patterns and limiting beliefs we carry deter us from progressing without us being aware of it. Deep-rooted cognitions, conditioning and negative experiences sometimes create blind spots and skewed perceptions, preventing us from having a clear vision or the ability to experience well-being.
Practicing mindfulness can maximize productivity and well-being by helping individuals to identify and control sources of stress and achieve emotional coherence and calmness. It helps eliminate irrational thinking and self-sabotaging beliefs and prevents burnout.
Managing Anxiety and Developing Emotional Balance
Unhelpful emotional patterns keep us trapped in suffering and confusion. To not be stuck in harmful emotions and patterns and letting go of them requires awareness. Mastering our emotions, learning to connect, accepting how we are feeling, offering ourselves kindness, and expanding our connection with self and others is the key to inner peace.
This course presents a step-by-step path to understanding your emotions and laying the foundation for calming your mind and expanding your awareness. You’ll gain insight into the emotional patterns that cause you stress, and learn how to transform your negative emotions into something acceptable and constructive. Experience a new way to perceive stressful situations and discover coping skills to overcome negativity, stress and anxiety.
Conflict Resolution and Compassionate Communication
Our success depends on meaningful connections and our ability to appreciate and be appreciated by others. Challenges in relationships deplete our energy and leave us feeling exploited. The practice of mindfulness helps us gain perspective on our own needs and those of others. Caring about others’ well-being and happiness lessens our self-centeredness. We discover many of the subconscious forces at play in our relationships. Through mindfulness, we can break our implicit patterns of defensiveness, rigidity, indifference and anger. These emotions often operate at a subtle level and cause us to be unhappy by keeping the mind in turmoil and causing mental anguish, both to us and the people we interact with.
This course will help you navigate challenging relationships and conflicts. You’ll learn the secret to nurturing fulfilling relationships and the art of making things right by building on your innate qualities of connecting with others in an authentic, compassionate way. It will bring about a positive influence on your conduct, thoughts, and internal and external communication, resulting in calmness, clarity, empathy, and greater resilience and adaptability.
Anger and Stress Management
When our emotional resources are not able to cope with the pressures and challenges of everyday life, we experience anger and stress. The inability to handle the demands on our attention, energy and emotions causes dissonance and confusion.
Mindfulness helps to integrate a sense of relaxation, calm and presence in our activities. Our actions become infused with an undercurrent of awareness, presence and a sense of fulfilment.
Mindfulness is all about how we manage our time, energy, attention and emotions. It replaces confusion with awareness, harmony and peace. It also promotes better decision-making and clarity to organize our priorities.
In this course, you’ll learn some basic methods that will help you to respond to stressful situations and to manage anger and overwhelming emotions in a more peaceful way. You will learn to identify how not to get trapped in angry energy and channel anger and overwhelming feelings into positive activity.
Coping with Power, Influence and Workplace Politics
Workplace politics is a fact of life in any organization. Our professional life is influenced by our ambitions, emotional needs, insecurities and personal agendas. Differences in personalities, opinions, mindset and ethical orientations lead to clashes and power struggles.
Mindfulness expands our emotional intelligence and also helps us to understand and cope better with other people’s emotions and behaviors. Once we understand the structure of power and influence, people’s relationships and interactions, and decipher how influence flows in the organization, we can use mindfulness to remain open-minded. This awareness helps us to avoid aligning to one or the other and manage our interactions with equanimity, in sync with fundamental human values.
Being less opinionated will help you to focus on your work more clearly and intensively, and this will make people start resonating with your positive energy. You’ll be able to establish a sense of power, presence and genuineness in your being and thrive in any workplace dynamics.
You will also learn how to gently turn away from negative influences, accurately see the big picture and focus on productivity. Practicing mindfulness will help you to develop increased clarity to make better decisions and tap into your creativity to influence others positively.
